Hall Rental Information
Located at the top of Capital Hill, the Colonial Room is an elegant 3,000 square foot private room. It is the perfect place for your special event. The banquet hall and lobby have been updated but still retain their turn of the century charm.
The Colonial Room rental fee is $2,300 plus an additional $500.00 cleaning/damage deposit that is refundable. It is 3,000 square foot room that will seat up to 250 with a designated dance floor. Tables (60" and 72" rounds) and chairs are included in the rental fee. You have use of the hall for 9 continuous hours the day of your event from 2:00pm to 11:00pm plus one complimentary hour for clean-up. Everything must be cleaned up and everyone must be out of the building by 12:00 midnight or an additional fee will be charged. You have access from 8:00am-1:00pm the last scheduled business day before your event to set up the hall. If alcohol is served, a Banquet Permit is necessary. There is a commercial kitchen that can be used by any licensed caterer. We are handicap accessible. We are in a residential area so there is a noise restriction--music down at 10:00pm and off completely at 11:00pm. The parking lots next to the building are managed by U-Park and can be rented directly from them.
You can view the hall anytime Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm. By appointment only arrangements can be made to view the hall on weekends when there are scheduled events. A promotional packet can be sent to you that contains a color photo of the room, a sample rental agreement and additional information that can help with your rental decision.
